I found this on an old backup, dated Dec 3rd 2011. The file was called "sb.txt"; my imagination didn't run as far as giving this a name, I guess. Here's a little thought experiment for you. Put yourself in a car, travelling on a dirt road in the country: it doesn't have to be any particular kind of car, as long as it can go at a decent lick. So you're trundling down this dirt road at thirty or so, and you keep going for an hour; the road turns to the left, so you follow it round. It straightens out, and you keep going for another hour. Two hours of driving, and you haven't really gone anywhere. Except what you've done is draw out two sides of a square, thirty miles on a side. That's nearly a thousand square miles: the whole of Tokyo, say, or most of London as it was before. Anti-Cheat Countermeasures in the Holiday Puzzle

The following information has been declassified from the DeviantArt Code Archive, after the decommissioning of the Holiday Puzzle. Back in the mists of time (or "2011") DA's annual Holiday Extravaganza sale needed a little sprucing up, so we came up with the idea of a simple Threes-alike puzzle game: click on groups of three or more Christmas-themed items, and they'd clear from the screen. Clear as much as you could, and the screen would refill as you moved up a level; cross a threshold with your final score, and get a discount code to use in the shop against prints and DevWear (yes, we once had merch too). As it turned out, the promise of a discount brought out some of the more devious deviants, and they started finding ways to get at the codes without going to the trouble of playing the game...
